A Year-Round Arts Festival in Naples

David Dial and Mark Poppleton

Nestled in historic Naples, NY is Artizann’s gift shop and art gallery. Originally founded in 2004, the gallery has become known as the Finger lakes premiere gallery, featuring over 200 of the region’s talented artists. Owners Mark Poppleton and David Dial bring their love of fine art to the public, as only they can in this funky, creative, and accessible gallery. Dial explains, “It’s like a museum experience. This is what Finger lakes art looks like.”

Artizanns’ exclusive collection spans all media, featuring paintings, sculptures, woodworks, hand-blown glass, pottery, jewelry, clothing, candles, soaps, and more, all crafted by Finger Lakes artisans on a consignment basis. Dial emphasizes their commitment to handling the business side, allowing artists to focus solely on their craft.

What sets Artizanns apart is its lively, festival-like atmosphere – a year-round celebration of local talent. Well-known and emerging local artisans mingle within the shop’s displays, with something for everyone and every occasion. With such favorites as Linda Connor Cass’ stone and glass bead jewelry, Nancy Lane’s classic Finger Lakes paintings, George Wallace’s vibrant landscapes, Kyle Landin’s glasswork, Deb Benedetto’s pottery, Pam Mead’s beach glass art, and a wide array of others, the artisans are as diverse as the artwork, all showcasing the wonders of the Finger Lakes region.

Artizanns offers a range of pieces, priced from $2.50 to $6,500, making it the go-to destination for unique gifts and home decor. The friendly staff, eager to engage with customers, creates a welcoming environment for all art enthusiasts.

As art lovers and professionally trained actors themselves, Dial and Poppleton care about artists and the work that goes into every creation in the Artizanns gallery. They are passionate about high-quality art but aesthetically strive to make their showroom accessible for every palette and every sense of style.
